I have a 07 Ram with the base radio. Can I get the upgraded radio and just plug it in or is there other mods to the wiring that needs to be done? I am just looking to do the 6 CD unit not nav. Also, does anyone have a unit that they are looking to sell?

 

The wiring harness should be the same, regardless of what radio you have installed.

 

Will the 6-CD units power the 4 factory speakers?

 

Whatever speakers you currently have will work with the upgraded stereo. It will simply plug in with no wiring modifications needed.

I have replaced the single cd unit to a 6 cd and then later the navigation unit. All worked just perfect.
