Default Something Unreal.

Hey, I'm looking to setup something competition wise for spl in my dodge. It's a 1998 quad cab (i don't need the back seats)
Currently am running -
-Alpine head unit -
-Pioneer 500watt 4 channel amp
-Pioneer 800 Watt Mono block (running two twelvs)
-Xplode 800 Watt Two Channel (bridged) into one ten
-2 x Rockford Fosgate P3 12" subs in custom ported enclosure under back seat
- one rockford p1 10" sub
- 4 x Visonic 6.5" Speakers

This setup is loud for vocals but nothing close to what i'm looking at for spl. I'd like to setup something arround 125 - 140db. Was thinking maybe a wall with 4 15's? gimme your ideas!

Pics -

Notice the Sattalite radio in rear view mirror (hard wired), also radar detector on dash is hard wired in

If you did 4 15's you would have to do a blow through.

whoa so let me get this right.... you have 2 12's and 1 10? rule 1 dont mix sub sizes! i would go with 1 15inch fi audio BL in a 4 cuft box tuned to 35hz running off an elemental designs nine.1 amp. get a kicker hyperflex 1/0 wiring kit and keep ur alpine hu.

haha i know that rule but eh everyone wants to expirement right? maybe just me but what do you think that one fifteen would hit? Thats almost a good idea cause then i could mod my seat and build a big box and still be able to seat two people back there.. habeba86 what do you mean by a blow by system? i'm also kinda on a bit of a budget so even though i'd love to throw the w7's in there there arround 2 grand a sub up here in canada.

alright ive been into car audio for about 5 yrs now and ive dun a lot of research along w/ my share of experimenting. im telling u to try to save u some money.... DO NOT buy JL, jl is for rich kids that dont know any better. ull be alot louder w/ the FI audio BL and it'll be a lot cheaper. its not possible to tell what ur gonna hit, it all depends on the install. i can tell u that if u get a good box (NOT PREFAB) that ull hit in the low to mid 140's. and trust me 140's for a daily system is nice
