Have a 2004 Dakota Quad Cab with Infinity system ( with steering wheel controls) Its an RBK factory radio with single cd and optional 6 disc changer. It has the square 10 Pin connector in the HU not the round 9 pin if thats makes a difference.

It got a NO CAN Bus auxilary interface to hook up my zune but its not working. Im wondering if my stereo, even though a 2004, may be a CAN bus system due to the steering wheel controls or what not and there fore need the CAN Bus model???

But everthing I see say CAN bus started in 2005. Is it possible mine is CAN bus? is there sure fire way to tell which type of system you have>??????
