Default AUX. INPUT FOR '06RAM

The IPOD doesn't plug-in to the AUX. input on the front of the factory radio?

Yeah with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm male/male headphone cord you should be able to plug intot eh headphone jack of the Ipod and then into the aux input on the front of the headunit.
