Amp and sub help
I am looking to put some subs into my truck. I have been trying to make heads and tails of a good setup, but I am having such a hard time figuring out ohm's and SVC vs DVC, and stuff like that. I have not bought anything yet, so any input is greatly appreciated! This is what I am looking at.
Amp - Kicker ZX750.1 (click here)
Subs - (2) CVR10 COMP VR 10" SUB 4 ohm (click here)
or (2) CVR10 COMP VR SUB 2ohm (click here)
Both subs are DVC. I guess I am confused if I should get the 2ohm or the 4ohm subs. And how I should wire them. The amp is 750 watts x 1 at 2 ohms, if that helps at all.
Thanks in advance for the help!!

Go with (2) SVC 4 ohm speakers wired in parallel http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/wo...p?Q=2&I=41
Since the amp is only rated at 2 ohm min. and can't be bridged, you can only use (1) 2 ohm speaker.
I have a MTX Thunderform box with (2) MTX woofers and a 375w Fosgate amp installed under the passenger seat. Hits hard, plays loud.

i would go twoSVC 4ohmer or one DVC 4ohmer, best power with 2 ohms at the amp. Two DVC 4 ohms will work and sound good but you wont have max power from the ampif it sees4 ohm.
it all depends on how muchbump you what in you trunk

it is possible to run max power out of that amp with 2 dvc subs, but they have to be dual 2ohm subs. you can wire each sub to a 4ohm load, then together to produce a single 2ohm load to the amplifier. each sub will be receiving 375rms with the amp running at full power. here is how to do it:
