i have a panasonic cq-c8300u head unit. what do you think about adding infinity 6000cs 6.5 inch speakers in the front and infinity kappa 639.5i 6x9 speakers in the rear. would i need an amp or does the head unit put out enough power. i have an intrepid, so i need speakers to make the whole big *** inside sound good.

I'm a huge fan of infinity. there stuff has always sounded great to me. i wen to circuit city to hear the 6000cs, and even though the head unit was a piece and it had no amp it sounded exceptional compared to any model of any other brands. What do u prefer Patrick

AN AMP CAN HURT IF YOU OVER POWER THE SPEAKERS. RULE OF THUMB IS NO LESS THAN 50% AND NO MORE THAN 90 % OF WATTS RMS. YOU ARE ALWAYS SAFE WITH THESE NUMBERS. YOU WON'T UNDER OR OVER POWER YOUR SPEAKERS. BUT I'M WITH HIM. WHY INFINITY????????? IF INFINITY, TRY THERE "PERFECT" SERIES.
