Default Install amp to override exhaust ?

To amp or not to amp? That is my question.
I have a 06 SLT Durango with a RAQ ( 6 disc MP3 player changer ) HU. And Premium, 8 Alpine speakers, sound.
Replaced my stock exhaust with a Flowmaster Super 44 and deleted the resonator/resinator .
Well now the noise inside the cabin is starting to get to me. The “ drone “ on the highway.
Don’t notice it around town with window open. And when I hit that certain “ sweet spot “ where there is no drone. But I still LOVE the Hemi rumble…
So I am thinking of installing a amplifier to my existing sound system. I’d like to keep my Original and O.E.M. HU and speakers.
Do you think I will see any “ noticeable “ improvement in my sound system ? I am hopeful That I will gain something that will override the muffler “ drone “. I am not that much of a “ audiophile “. Just want to hear good sounds.I am looking at a Alpine MRP F250, 4 channel amp…400Watt.

Thanks nb...I was also thinking of sound deadening right side of vehicle also.
I only have one exhaust pipe on pass side of my " D "..Tip out the rear.

An amp will help, but the sound deadening will be the best help. Shop around, there is cheaper stuff out there than Dynomat, that stuff is high.
