Default 94 Ram stereo installation problem

Whoever had this truck before hooked it up wrong and melted some of the wires together but it still worked. When I pulled the wires apart it quit working. The black wire from the stereo was hooked to a black/green wire in the dash but I can't get it to work now. I can't find any info on this wire. There's a black/green one and a black/yellow. Any ideas? I'm stumped.

If wires are melting...you have decent current flowing threw them...your fuse should have blown. Check your fuses and go to that link and check the wiring color.
