it should. you may have to modify your bezel. plus you need to find our the bus speed. There is a high and low. if you get the high speed MyGig with a low bus speed connection, it will not work.

It doesnt matter what your bus speed is, the mygig uses a different bus system than what is the 2008 and earlier Rams. You need to get the lockpick mygig adapter, and a low speed radio. The lockpick adapter only works with the low speed radios. I'm not sure what the srt-8 has, but i think it is a low speed radio.

I've done this in my 2005 Dakota. This is the adapter you will need: http://coastaletech.com/MYGIG_ADAPTER.htm. In the instructions link on that page they list which vehicles you can get low speed radios out of, if in doubt call a dealer and get them to check which bus speed the srt-8 charger is. If you get a high speed radio it will not work and you will have to return it or sell it the radio has to be for a low speed bus.
