I just got 2 tweeters, 2 6x9's, and the infinity amp from a shady fellow. Free so not a big deal if it doesn't work. I need to know where to go from here. I have a 08 dodge ram quad cab with the base sound system. Please help if you can. I know just enough to get myself in trouble so I don't want to start until i'm fairly sure of what i'm doing. Thanks.

 

What did the infinity amp come out of?

 

He said it was out of another 08 ram.

 

That amp is can-bus turn-on. You would have to have something to turn it on by a can-bus signal. I think you would be better off getting a component amp and power the speakers with that. It is do-able, but I think you would need the infinity amp and idk if the component wiring is ran or not. Ill check wiring tommarow at work.
