Default Which amp for my subs?

What's up all. My family has this thing where we open up our gifts at midnight of Christmas. The present my parents and sis got me were two 10" Alpine Type-R 1042D. Here's a description of them right here:

Now, as my title says... What amp would be good to power these babies? I'm not going to buy online. I'm walking in to a shop to buy. I would prefer if you guys could stick to "higher grade" amps since shops usually carry brands such as Alpine, JL, and Infinity. But please, NO PIONEER. I had a bad experience with the product and customer service and don't need a repeat. I would like to get a gist of what to expect from the sales rep's mouths. All help is appreciated. Thank you much!!

I will be getting the same subs just in 2ohms. I will be powering them with the alpine m1000 mono block amp which is perfect for these subs.

I was looking at that amp as well. It's gonna be a very nice setup. I think I'm gonna go with a 2 channel amp because of the dual 4 ohm load. I was at the installer not too long ago and got a gist of what's going on with the dual 4 ohm. I guess I'll have to drop to 1 ohm if I get a mono block, which is what I really wanted. I guess I'll settle with a bigger, more expensive 2 channel amp...

Try the Arc Audio KS 1000.1, rated at 1000 rms at 1 or 2 ohm. The alpine is nice but the ks is a far better quality and cleaner amp. I'd say its comparable to the JL audio slash2 amps but at about 500 bucks cheaper. Is more money, but well worth it.
