i have a 07 megacab and i dont know if there is an amp some where....?i want to hook up a new head unit with suround sound but i only see three pairs of speaker wires.on the back of the connector i see amp on it with the 3 pairs,2 grnds,and 2 power wires.it has a small connector next to it but it doesnt seem to make any diffrence when i unplug it.i have 7 speakers,where are all the wires going to

 

If all the trucks are the same, the amp should be behind your glove compartment. You also need to purchase a CAN-BUS. Those run at about $120 at any car audio shop. You might have to bypass the amp by unplugging the wires from the amp and reconnecting each individual one to the same colored one going in and out of the amp. Good luck!
