Default Door Subs

Hey all,

I got a Quad Cab Ram and wanted some BASS in my system w/ loosing space. I did a little research but didn't come up with much info about "free air" subs that can be mounted in the door w/o the need for a box. has anyone done this? or can anyone point me in the right direction?

Its doable but I wouldn't do it because it causes your door to rattle, yeah you get bass and in addition a noisy door. If you buy good speakers you really don't even need subs, tuned with a headunit the speakers can hit the lows, not as deep as subs but it does sound nice.

Yea, I guess I'll just have to upgrade the stock headunit and speakers.

I was worried about the rattling in the doors. Thnx
