Wiring Help FACTORY AMP 97 INTREPID
Im trying to run my new kappa front door speakers off my new mtx amp in a 97 intrepid with the factory amp, ive located the amp but have no clue what wires to run to my new amp, its kind of hard to tell what wires are coming into the factory amp and which ones are coming out, this is confusing, i do not feel like running new wires through the doors, anyone know exactly which wires are coming out of the factory amp that I should splice into? any help would be highly appreciated, thank you. also i have many years of car audio knowledge just need to know which wires to splice into. THANKS
Here's some info that I pulled from the12volt, I'm not 100% sure if these are the wires at the amp, but I would guess that they are the wires from the back of the radio to the amp.

As far as speaker wires from the amp go, easy way to check is this.
-Before you install your amplifier, replace your speakers. If you have speaker adapters, its easy to tell which wire is positive and which is negative. If you don't have an adapter available, clip the two wires about 2" back from the speaker plug. Remove the old speaker and reconnect the plug that you cut to it. Using a AA battery, touch one speaker lead to each end of the battery. When the speaker moves outward when the leads are touched, you have the polarity correct. The wire connected to the positive terminal of the battery is wired to the positive speaker terminal. Document which wire does what with every speaker.
After you've replaced all your speakers and documented every wire connected to the speakers, you're ready to bypass the factory amplifier and install your new one. Using the information that you got from replacing your speakers, clip the wires and connect them to your new amp in the appropriate outputs and you're golden.
