Sub and Amp for '98 Neon?
I'm looking to get a decent Sub (or Subs) for my 1998 Neon. I had some Kenwood speakers installed about a year ago, but they lack bass...these are them.

I'm looking to spend around $350-500 MAX for an Amp, Enclosure and probably either a 10" or a 12". I pretty much listen to just Heavy Metal, some Hip-Hop, Modern Rock etc, so I am definitely looking for SQL over SPL.
Any suggestions?

Whichever one you get, look into an amplifier that is around 500 watts rms. Some good quality budget brands to look for are Viper, Profile, JBL, and US Acoustics...I like to buy new from an ebay store.

After reading some about the Ascent Audio Atlas 12, I think that is the one I want.
Any suggestions for a enclosure? I am guessing something ported would be best?
