I'm the proud new owner of a 2009 Ram 1500 SLT 4x4, but I wasn't able to get the luxury package or the technology package in it. This isn't really that big of a deal, but I would like to upgrade the rear view mirror to the autodimming mirror and upgrade to the alpine speaker system. Is this possible or am I SOL until I look for a new truck?

 

You will need the 7-pin adapter cable to power the autodim mirror, IF you can get the autodim mirror AND the cable, all you need to do is wire it into the back of a 12volt fused connection, i.e. your 12 volt/cigarette lighter jack in the dash. elsewise you will have to purchase the cable model number 82211868
