Default i need speaker advice

hi guys. i need some advice. i have a 99 dodge ram 1500. i installed top of the line hertz speakers (6x9 up front and 6.5's in back), and a 400w mtx amp. i also have a 12" kicker L7 to complement the hertz. it sounds great, but it's not loud enough! the reason its not loud enough is because i work and play a lot out side, and i use my truck as a boom box. my question to you guys is: is there a louder speaker / amp combo out there, or do i have to install more speakers in the truck. thanks in advance.

Is the amp hooked up to the speakers and the sub, or just the sub?

what are you trying to increase all output or the bass? the mains should be more than enough. you could add another L7 and amp of equal wattage. That would definitely improve overall volume.
