I hve a rookie question.

I just bought a 2009 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Lonestar Edition. It has satilite radio and uconnect buttons (RES) but they are not activated. I was told that all I need is the microphone that mounts on the rearview and a cd that activates the system. Can someone tell me what I need to make the uconnect work and what it should cost? The dealer I bought the truck from is no longer in business and the other dealers I called didn't seem to know what I was looking for. When i walked them through it I got three different answers and three different prices.

I have the same setup in my 2010 Ram 1500. To add the uconnect phone which comes with voice command, you would need to get the UConnect Hands-Free System (82211878).
