I now have a OEM am/fm cassette player in my truck would like to change it out for a factory am/fm cd player.. Can it be done with little hassel??? will it just plug in?? will I have to change the wiring, will it just fit right in?? last question anyone have one they would like to part with.. Thanks in advance
It should simply plug in to the factory harness. I have the unit out of my 2000 RAM. It is the one with CD and 3-band equalizer. $65 + shipping and it's yours.
yes it will work, but you'd probably be happier with a nice, modern aftermarket unit with ipod aux connection, much better quality of cd play, mp3 play, sat radio, rca amp output, etc.
you can buy a dash adapter that makes for a very nice installation.

is this radio / cd player still availible? If so any chance to get picture of factory part number tag that is on the top of unit. Also do you except pay pal?
