Hello All. I'm new here so forgive me. I have a 2002 Durango with the AM/FM/CD/Tape deck. I believe that it is also a changer control. Can anyone verify this? Tell me how to verify this? If it is indeed a changer control, will an Alpine CHM-s611 plug into it? Do I need an adapter? I have a spare one sitting here and hate that its not being used.

If it is a cd changer model it will have a function button on the unit for controlling cd function ie. one of the buttons will actually have written on it cd or audio. You alpine unit will not plug in. Only a factory changer will directly plug in, there are probably adapters out there.
