Angry 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T Ifinity Amp MR472783

Hello all! My name is Shawn and I am fairly new to the forum, I recently Installed the following stereo and amp into my vehicle

Pioneer Audio DEH-1100MP and a Sony Xplode Amplifier.

Stereo-->Ifinity Amp MR472783--->Xplode--Sub Woofers

The Ifinity Amp MR472783 obviously powers everything before the Xplode.

After initial installation I was not having any issues, but recently I have been intermittent issues with no sound coming from either of the speakers.

The deck powers on and nothing else. After some simple troubleshooting I have determined that the issue is most likely the Ifinity Amp MR472783. Not only am I not getting sound from the speakers but I am no longer getting power to the Sony Xplode, I have checked all fuses and everything looks good.

Can someone advise on how to resolve my issue.

I had a similar issue. When installing a new alternator, I forgot to disconnect the battery, and during installation, I caused a spark, which I think caused some internal issues with teh amplifier. Now the speakers buzz.

I wish I knew how to by-pass the amp. Everything else for the audio setup is aftermarket. So I dont really need it. And they go for $200 on eBay.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I ended up bypassing the stock amp and havent had any issues. I ended up cutting the wires from the adapters and matching wires by colors. Red to Red, blue to blue etc...
