Just got my 2007 DD, v6, club cab, Love it, great ride.

Question - the passenger air bag symbol lights up for several seconds when the ignition is turned on. The problem is it says the same thing - "passenger air bag off" - when the dash key slot is turned to on or to off. How would I know when it's on ?
