Default Fitting a single DIN head unit in a 2004 regular cab....

So, every music lovers worst nightmare - the Ram's standard CD system. No MP3 and a pig awkward shape to replace!

I have seen a few double DIN upgrades with custom fascia, but has anyone done a single DIN conversion?

I was thinking using a nice piece of carbon fibre look PVC, cutting the single DIN hole, gluing it straight over the top of the original fascia and if needed making some 'in-dash' brackets for support.

Any Advice?

A single din is just a basic normal aftermarket size radio. That is very simple. You just buy an aftermarket radio mount kit for your year truck and do it up. It's already molded to the rounded corners and everything.
They come with mounting tabs and bracket supports as well and are only $15.

ALL DONE!

Despite not being able to get a single din plate for a 'dodge ram' from local suppliers here in Bulgaria, you can get one that does the job perfectly and is for a PT Cruiser / Jeep Cherokee and some others...lol

Slapped in a nice Alpine 113 with built in bluetooth, very happy with it. Next time for speakers and some under the seat subs....
