I always wanted a dvd player in the dash of my Ram and now I see that it can be done. Does anybody have any suggestions on what unit I should be looking at? And just how hard is it to modify my bezel? Thanks in advance for everyones help.

 

04's are tough. Custom made bezels are out there but are hard to find, where as i can walk into a dealer for my '08 and buy a color matched navi bezel.
I have a Pioneer nav unit. The newer models are faster and are much less glitchy. i've tried a few others like kenwood and while they are nice, they lack some features and their price isn't too nice.
PM Weedahoe and see if he can maybe fab up some bezel brackets for you. i know he was customizing bezels as well which can be done with some cut-off tools and filler/paint. I'd be willing to help you out as well, but I just don't know what the brackets need to be since I have an '08.

 

Yea the 07 and 08s look pretty easy to put a dvd player in. I was looking at getting one but I've gotten used to not having a truck payment. I'll see if i can get up with Weedahoe. Thanks
