I searched but couldn't find anything about my Rammer. My back door speakers wouldn't work at all so I figured I'd swap them out with some cheap Sony's. That didn't work. So then I figured I'd swap the deck with a cheap Kenwood. Got that wired up last night but now my front speakers and rears don't work now. I've got good power on it, just no sound. Plugged my stock one back in and it works minus the rears still. On the back of the stock deck are 3 plugs, a black one, a gray one and this mysterious white one with 2 thin wires. I don't think I have the Infinitey sound system as there is no branding on the HU or speakers. I do however have the door post tweeters. I've used the wire harness adapter so I figured it's all good. Any thoughts?

sorry that tthis is an old thread, but have u figure out what was going wrong becasue i am having the same problem with my truck.

 

If he had an on board OEM amp and didnt wire remote power to the remote wire to turn on the amp then you or he would get no sound at all.

 

If you've got the A pillar tweeters, you most likely have an external amp (Infinity).

 

I just got my setup from crutchfield and the instructions say the fader won't work. Wtf?

Front speaker wires r supposed to hook to rears on the adapter to get sound. Whaaaaattttt?

I'm so pissed. But I don't want tondo my road trip w/o my iPod. I think I'm going to try torun some new wires from the deck to infinity rear speakers. Hopefully the new deck can power the rears ok.
