Ya man i wouldn't go near a flip out either, very prone to breaking quickly spend the extra hundred or two and save yourself a little money down the road. Also are you having a shop do this or are you going to attempt it, because if your not very audio/wiring knowledgeable you better be willing to buy some pizza and beer to have a few buddies help.

Good choice man, make sure you shop around a little, when i had my deck done ( i did all my speakers myself just not the deck) one shop bid me at $250 in labor then another one in a shady neighborhood did it for $120 and i couldn't have been happier they were great guys and i still go back, i just make sure i always keep my doors locked in that neighborhood! haha
