Default need help with Keyless entry

My name is Christian I recently installed a remote start on my 96 2500 Van everything works great except the keyless entry the van has keyless already but I am trying to get it the remote start unit to control them. The unit has to cables on for unlock and one for lock but the van has three lock unlock and trigger. After doing some research I found out I need some relays and posible inverter?
Any help would be great.

fairly simple. Lock and unlock wires are all you need. The keyless on what system you got more than likely has a negative pulse for door locks. This means it will send a ground signal out to the door lock and unlock wires when you press the lock or unlock button. On the van you have in particular the door lock wires you have are positive trigger. Meaning they rest at open circuit or ground and to lock or unlock a positive 12volts must be sent to the wire. To change the negative output from the remote start you have to a positive pulse will require two relays. One for lock and one for unlock. I can give you more specific info if you provide me with what the remote start is.. as in brand and model. It's nothing to worry about though it's pretty damn easy

page 24 of the manual shows the relay wiring you need. It's the third diagram down.

Make sure to test for the proper wires with a multimeter before just hooking up and praying.. cause more harm than good doing it that way
