I just bought '06 ram 2500, equipped with remote starter. My climate control is stuck in hot defrost, and neither the ac button nor the heated mirrors button work. No fuses blown. could this problem be related to mal-wiring in the remotes starter or is is isolated to the climate control panel alone... any ideas?

 

Welcome to the site. This is normally caused by a broken blend or directional door on the HVAC unit. It is a common issue really.
