HID headlights with stock light covers?

Default HID headlights with stock light covers?

Does anybody know if you can use HID lights with the stock headlight covers?

Stock headlight covers as in stock headlight housings? Sure you can use them with stock headlight housings but will get some scattered light. Getting some OEM HID projectors and retrofitting them into the OEM housings is the best but more costly way to go.

What year, make, model do you have?

That's the thing, I don't want to spend a whole lot of money for everything. I have a 96 2500 slt
