I'm trying to install my new system in my '08 ram with the 6.7 cummins. I can't find a spot to run the power write through the fire wall. Any suggestions there? Also, I'm installing a sound processor to my factory radio and wanted to know where a good wire to tap into for a remote would be.

 

Welcome to the site. IDK about you 08 6.7 but my 04 5.7 has a plate right below the steering column shaft on the firewall that was held in place with two nuts. You can take this out, drill it, use a grommet and put it back in place and then run the wire through it. Before I knew of this though i had already ran 0/2 wire through the top grommet behind the vacuum booster and down the firewall, behind the kick panel and under the door sills.

As for the remote wire, I would just tap the 12v switched wire from the back of the OEM radio harness
