JL Audio stealth box/speakers
Looking to upgrade the stock stereo, looking into the JL Audio stealth box, comes with a 10w3. Is it worth the ~$500. If not what else would u guys recommend? I will also want toupgrade the head unit and door speakers, etc.

You can get WAY better than that... where are you looking? A custom box for a JL w3 should only run about 200 bucks and I wouldn't pay more than 150 for a W3...
I'm running Two JL 12" W6 in a custome box... the box only cost 250

I've searched around. I've seen MTX makes a box with two 10's with fit underneath the rear seat. ~$350. Then again I dont know about MTX. Opinons, comments

MTX is all i have had. They went through some bad times about a year ago with their glue so the subs fell apart, however, I kept with them and havent had a problem with mine since. The sound quality of the subs are very impressive. From my personal experience with MTX, I would get the 8000's if you can. The quality of the 8000's surpass the 6000's by a mile.
By the way i have 2 12' 8000's, 2 10' 8000's, 421D amp, 801D amp, cap, and custom box.

Spend your money on hardware. You can build a box yourself it's easy and will be higher quality if you make it out out of MDF, those store bought boxes are particle board. JL's are good MTX is crap, Audiobahn gives you the most bass for your $.
I bite the bullet and bought the JL stealth box with the 10w3, paid around ~400. I am VERY impressed with it. I am running a JL 500/5 amp, about 250 watts to the woofer and sounds good as hell. It wont win any competetions, but good enough for a daily driver.
