2011 Alpine head unit REN outputs
ok, so i had a 2009 ram that i replaced the head unit in the alpine system and put in an aftermarket pioneer. having the 8 band EQ in the pioneer allowed me to tweak the system enough to realize that the problem with the alpine from the factory is the head unit.
now i have a 2011 with the alpine and factory nav. I actually like the unit but would like to tweak the sound more than the stock stereo allows.
my thought is to put an EQ between the factory head unit and the alpine amp
so my question is, does the factory head unit output 2 channels or 4 channels, and are they speaker level or line level
i have seen plenty of diagrams and info about what the outputs of the alpine amp are, but none on the inputs of the amp or outputs of the REN
help!!
