Question Anyone use the SWI-Jack from PAC to interface the steering wheel controls?

I bought a Kenwood unit that has the steering wheel interface wire, and bought the PAC SWI-JACK that is supposed to adapt them, but I can't get it to program (and not 100% sure it is going to work the way I want anyway..)

Anyone have any luck with this or have I wasted $70?

I picked this up from another site this morning BTW

What it is: (from the site above)
The SWI-CAN is an add-on module for use with the SWI-X, SWI-ALP, SWI-ECL or SWI-PS. It is used for steering wheels that use a dual wire CAN bus to control the factory radio. The SWI-CAN interprets the data to a usable signal that the SWI-X can use.

Absolutely flawless. I'm currently using this unit with a SWI-PS ( plugged into a Pioneer AVIC-Z1 ). Works great to retain use of my steering wheel controls. Nice OEM Feel!

MUST HAVE THIS UNIT IF:
You are installing an aftermarket radio in your CAN Bus vehicle and wish to retain use of the Steering Wheel Controls

SPECIAL NOTE:
This is not designed to be a stand-alone unit. It must be used in conjunction with a SWI-PS, SWI-ALP, SWI-ECL or SWI-X. Check the Product link above for application details.

I've already taken it out and planning on returning it. Not worth the hassle if you ask me.
