anyone use them? i'm looking at the application for a dakota. wanna hear some opinions before i commit to buy.

I would check into the mtx version, alot of people sattisfied with em.

I had these in my Chevy. I thought they were a great product. Fit well and looked good. You can get them real cheap on Ebay if you take your time.

I'll warn you about these......they will cause you to lose feet/leg room up front. If you are like me, and need that extra space....it can really be a pain in the butt......

That said....they really do sound great. I've seen them on a few competition cars and they are definitely worthwhile. I still would suggest upgrading your factory speakers before installing these though. That alone might make you decide that you dont need these...

thanks, i'm currently shopping to upgrade the stock speakers. when you had them how much did you need to mod the parking brake?

They sound best if you coat the rear of the forms with a few layers of fiberglass. The ABS that they're made of is thin and resonates rather easily, thus coloring the natural sound of the drivers.

If you have a local audio shop that can build you custon kicks, that would be a better investment overall.

AS for the Q-Forms, if you get the set made for you SPECIFIC vehicle, no modifications to the vehicle should be necessary.
