rear speaker fitting problems

Default rear speaker fitting problems

i have a 2002 dodge ram 1500 qc with infinty system. i purchased some pioneer 5.25 coaxial speakers to replace my rear speakers and i found out that my rear speakers were also 5.25. but my stock speakers are held on by 3 screws and the new pioneer speakers are held on by 4 screws. how do i make it work?

You have to drill new holes for the screws to make then fit

Sounds pretty cut and dry. It is very easy to drill a new whole in the metal of the door. You can use a drill and a self tapping screw.

Yep, drill and use self tappers. Thats what I did but I went with 6.5's

whatever size you want without obviously going too big

Thanks bud. Ive got 5 custom painted ones going out tomorrow. Will have pics and a Youtube vid on them tomorrow as well.

I actually ship A LOT of them out to TX.
