What Are These Strips In My Door?
Chunks of this tar-like substance have fallen to the bottom of my doors, a screw driver literally pulled it right off with ease so anything loose I pecked off while I had the doors apart. Is this factory insulation? Sound deadening? Door structure?
I have some extremely nice speakers but no dot want to Dynamat these doors as for I may swap them for rustless power doors. I have tons of this old undercoating but I think that is a really bad idea being petroleum/oil based. What about some rubber based bed liner? A can of that sprayed in the doors would do some temporary improvement right?
