what years do the stereos interchange with my 98 Dakota?
I have a cassette stereo...loking for a used head CD unit, but want to know what years will fit...plug and play with no mods? I seem to find lots of later model units for a much better deal on Flebay than the late 90's units. Looking to spend under $30 if possible and have found several units from early 2000 models that fit the price....just not sure they'll fit the plugs and trim ring right.

I have a factory cassette head unit and looking for a factory CD head unit that will be plug & play with no mods. Finding plenty on Flebay, but most of the late 90's units are too expensive. Finding some from early 2000's that are less than $30! Hoping one of those will just plug and play.
