Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this question but it seems like it should fit in. Okay so i just bought a 1997 dodge ram 1500 and I want to take out the radio headunit and replace it. Mainly so i can use my iphone, but i would also like a gps unit. Now i cant install a full screen in it(at least thats what i think). Now i saw those flip up screen stereos with built in dvd and such, and was wondering if they also featured GPS navigation? And if anybody knows a good brand that includes the gps feature.

Could i use a boss bv9968bi for example and put a gps cd in there and use it as a gps or would i need some sort of converter box or adapter with a software update? Any input is appreciated. Basically what im looking for is a flip up radio that has built in gps. I dont really care about all that tv and dvd stuff
