Default bridging

Could some one please explain to me how to bridge an amp? Is it possible with a 2 channel amp and 1 speaker? Thanks in advance

Yes, just run the + from one channel and the - from the other channel to the sub.

Just make sure that you are not running anything under 4 ohms.

What kind of of sub you using?

First thing you need to do is to look in the manual to see if it can be bridged first. Most newer amps can be. If you look on the terminals where the speakers hook up, there might be a line connecting the + of one channel and the - of the other like Alpine said. Heck some amps (with passive hi/lo filters can even drive 3 speakers. The old Alpine 3522 is a good example. Give us the brand/model of the amp/subs and we can help you much better.
