Default hvac lights

My father has a 2003 Ram 2500. He has 2 burnt out HVAC control lights. I ordered and recieved the 3 bulbs, and was wondering how to install them. I am thinking you have to remove the radio/hvac control bezel trim ring. But thats as far as i know. Any help would be helpful. Thank You !!

I think you have to replace the entire control module for burnt LEDs??
Been a while since I removed the trim, but mine just pops right off. Tough as hell, but just pops off. Take a look on the underside from inside the cupholder and see if there are 2 screws going up in first, but I'm pretty sure 2003 is similar to my '08 as far as just snapping in place with no screws or anything.

When I replaced mine (with LED BTW) I simply took off the dash bezel and unscrewed the controls. The bulbs literally twist and lock into place. But with LED bulbs, if they do not work then you have to rotate them 180*
