unlock radio?????
unlock radio?????
Does anyone know if it is possible to unlock a standard Chrysler 6cd/radio.
What i mean is, as i live in the UK, almost half of our national radio stations are unobtainable or at best slightly off frequency due to the OEM CD/Radio, being locked into US frquencies, with large KC shifts. Is there a way to unlock the frequencies, so there are no gaps from the top of the band to the bottom of the band.........on FM. Not bothered about AM, as there are very few stations that use these frequencies now.
Any input would be appreciated......

just thought i would ask the question, no one this side of the pond has been very helpful or encouraging.
the only thing i can think of and cheapest way is to get hold of a 2nd hand European spec unit out of a 300C or Jeep, sold in the UK with UK/European specs, hopefully they will be unlocked from the factory so i can use the whole FM frequency..thanks anyway.....
