Uconnect and Pandora
I just bought a 2011 Dodge Durango Crew and have always enjoyed streaming pandora. I'm able to stream it without any issues through the stereo system, however it doesn't send over any of the data regarding what song is playing or anything like that. Does anyone know if there is a setting with regards to that or am I doing something wrong?
I hope I put this in the right forum, I also did a quick search prior to posting this, however I might have missed something (if I did, sorry).

This isn't a Uconnect issue. The phone needs to send Meta Data to Uconnect in order for it to be displayed. What phone do you have? I have the iPhone 4S and it works. However the way that Apple sends the information, sometimes the Data doesn't show up on the first song but starts on the 2nd song on.

Finally got around to letting pandora play through about 15 songs this morning on the way to work and there was absolutely nothing that was displayed on the screen. I'm not sure if there is a setting on my phone (Galaxy S3) or if I'm doing something wrong. I know on my last car (after market stereo) it would send all of the data over so I'm leaning towards the uConnect not accepting the data from my phone for some reason.
Is there an ap on my phone (other than pandora) that is needed to send the data over?

What was the model of the aftermarket radio in your last vehicle?
I went by a friends to have him take some traces of the communication between the Uconnect system and the phone when playing a music app (Pandora, iHeart,, Slacker etc). Here's what we saw, my iPhone4S sends the meta data while the G3 does not.
Here is a shot of the trace on the communications:

So you can see that there is "no info" listed in the VBI messages 1 - 6 for the G3 and there is data for the iPhone 4S. This would be true for any other phone that displays the meta data as well.
