Yeah I already have 2 12s in a FoxBox under my back seats, but I want to put more subs in. I really want to do 4 bucket seats and put a box through the whole truck. Anyone have 2 bucket seats for sale or know where to find them?
How does that sound and how hard was it to install. I just traded turcks and now missing my bass a little bit. I had 2 12" jl subs behind the seats in a single cab. I have a mega cab now with infinity system sounds good just lacks alot of bass.
It is an 8" 300W kicker so it fills in the low end fairly well but it wouldn't give you the boom that 2 12" jl's would. It gave me what I was looking for which is a nice crisp low end that the infinity was missing. One big advantage that I find over other sub systems is having the sub in the middle of the truck, in my opinion it sounds better than subs under the back seat (but i am definitely not an audio expert so YMMV). One other thing worth mentioning is that vibrations can be an issue, I think I have finally got rid of most by using foam and rubber but on certain songs there is still one vibration that I can't seem to find that you can hear when the sub hits certain frequencies.
The space is pretty small so It was a bit tricky to install since the sub box needs to be fairly intricate to maximize the space (even maximizing the space, the box size was still only 0.32 sq. ft., which was ideal for this solobaric sub, but still a small box). If you have any more questions about my setup just shoot me a PM and I'll try to answer them as best as I can.
