Default Dodge Wiring harness

I am planning on installing an aftermarket head unit and have a wiring harness question. It seems I will need a special harness with CAN signals. They retail at over $60, opposed to the $5 wiring harnesses available for most vehicles. Am I missing something?

What is the yr/mk/mo of the ride

Some rides the the Ram and non-Infinity systems and Infinity. Depending on what you want to do or keep will determine which harness you want/need

Do you have the same stock infinity system or not? You should click my Facebook in my signature and look at some of the 06-08 custom dash pieces I have done.
