I have a 2011 charger with the 8.4/RE2 uConnect system. I recently upgraded to a new HTC DNA phone, and the audio quality of telephone calls over bluetooth is terrible. Streaming music from the phone over bluetooth works perfectly. I noticed earlier today that the DNA is specifically not on the list of phones that has been tested by Chrysler/Dodge. After doing some research, this is apparently a known issue - possibly because the DNA uses a protocol called 'aptx', which doesn't 'play nice' with some vehicle bluetooth systems. I contacted HTC, and they advised that the DNA has the most recent bluetooth technology, and Dodge should be able to do an update to my vehicle so that it is compatible. Anybody know if such an update would be available? Thanks!!
