Hi all.
Just picked up a 2006 Dodge caravan. It's got the DVD player and REV radio, which has 3 AV jacks on it's face. The radio has 3 modes; fm, am, and satellite radio (it's Sirius ready). I'm trying to figure out how to use those AV jacks to hook up my mp3 player. I have a RCA video (yellow) to 1/8" jack, no luck there. I've also got a RCA audio left and right (white & red) to 1/8" jack, no luck there either. I've tried both of these cables in each of 3 above modes with no luck. And yes, my mp3 player does work. What am I missing?

It will show up as AUX when it senses something coming from the RCA inputs. It doesn't have to be video, just audio, but sometime it takes a couple minutes. just keep scanning the sources until AUX comes up.

 

Did you ever get the audio AUX to work?

 

Not in the stock radio, but it works great in my new radio!

 

I just picked up an REV unit for my SRT-4 and have the AUX working just fine with a White/Red to 3.5mm cable. One thing to note is the mp3 player must be playing and not on mute for the radio to detect it. Afterwards the AUX option appears when pressing mode to scroll through the inputs.
