2-way or 3-Way?
Get you mind out of the gutter!
So anyway I have a Alpine 9887 Head, Kicker IX500.4 channel amp and I am think about installing some Precision Power PC3.65 in the front stage and rear doors. I have never ran a 3-way setup before...so please forgive...
Now what would be the best way to run these. Drop the head into 3-Way and direct wire to the amps and let the head control the speakers
Leave the head in two way and let the X-Over to the work
Run it through a DSP like an Audio Control 6XS?
Keep in mind I have another set in the rear doors and 2-12" under the seat!

If you are interested in putting a double din in that truck let me know.
As for the 3 ways, first and foremost, make sure the depth of the basket will clear the windows coming down and have enough top mount to clear the door skins.
I have Kicker 6.5 2 ways and they barely clear. MMy high pass/low pass is all setup in my head unit
