Blew out my mid in the driver's side door. its really making me mad. Its a 99 Dakota Club Cab. Has the Infinity system in it and I just bought a set of Rockford/Fosgate Components. (cant remember their model number). I was told by a few people they WONT work with the system without replacing the HU. I dont want to replace the HU as its just another expense while I'm on a college budget.

I was also told they WOULD work, but would have to bypass the amplifier. Basically....I want these things to work and still sound good. I wasnt planning on amplifying them. So how would I make these work? They came with Crossovers. Im assuming I need to use those.

Just hook them up.

You'll definently be able to tell if it wont work right off the bat.

If anything you will just have to bypass the amp for the front speakers.
