I am wiring up an amp and need to know where the firewall is located?

The firewall is what seperates the cab from the engine compartment.

If you are wiring up an amp, why not go to the battery that is in the rear next to the spare tire?

there's holes in the firewall, usually where the other wires for your dash go through... or on some cars/trucks you'll find round rubber grommets in the firewall, just put the wire in the hole frome the engine side and start pushing...
