HI, I have a 2008 Dodge Caravan. It has a radio with bluetooth, CD, DVD player. This problem has gotten progressively worse. Currently after the radio is on maybe 5 minutes, sometimes less, it will get static/sizzle. Radio totally goes out. Neither AM or FM work. Here is the weird part, if you turn the radio off at this point (after the static/sizzle starts) you continue to hear the static/sizzling noise though not quite as loud as when the radio was on. In fact, it does not stop until the car is turned off AND you open the door. Then it stops. The CD play and DVD player both work fine with no issues. From this I am assuming it is not related to the speakers but is isolated to the radio part of the system. It is very odd. Any thoughts? When it first started it was just an intermittent thing that happened once in a while but now it always happens and the radio only works for a very short time when it is first turned on. Would love any advice.
